Walking Tours
Step Into Covent Garden – London Covent Garden and Theatreland
London’s West End is one of the world’s most iconic and famous theatre districts with 39 theatres. This is a chance to explore the charming and bohemian district of Covent Garden where many of these theatres are located as well as the many quirky independent shops cafes and restaurants in this area. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you around the small back streets and hidden areas of the district and entertain you with stories of the buildings, personalities and productions which have made this Covent Garden so fascinating. See the area where Eliza Doolittle sold her flowers in ‘My Fair Lady’ and where the first Punch and Judy shows were performed in Britain.

Step into the South Bank of London
This is a wonderful opportunity to see a different side of London. Some of the most famous sights of London are best seen from the South Bank of the River Thames. Once a main industrial and port area of London, the South Bank now boasts some state-of-the-art entertainment venues, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Tate Britain Art Gallery and the busy and bustling Borough Market, one of London’s premier foodie markets.
Starting at Westminster Bridge your guide will lead you along the Queen’s Walk along the banks of the Thames where you will be able to take some great pictures of the Houses of Parliament and the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) and hear all about life on the river and London’s history as a port. The tour ends at Borough Market, where you will be able to try some delicious and unusual treats!

Step into Bloomsbury
Bloomsbury is London’s prime literary district and home of the University of London and the British Museum. Many famous writers and academics have lived in the leafy squares of Bloomsbury including Charles Dickens, J M Barry, George Orwell and Virginia Woolf.
Your professional guide will take you through quaint back streets and pretty garden squares of Bloomsbury and entertain you with stories of some of the famous writers and artists who have lived in this university quarter. If you wish, you can end your walking tour with a visit to the wonderful British Museum.

Step into the City of London
The City of London is London’s oldest district dating back to Roman times and is one of the most fascinating areas of London. Here, ancient meets modern with a tour that will take you in and out of quaint cobbled streets and narrow alleyways, the medieval Leadenhall Market and key London sights like St Paul’s Cathedral, the Bank of England and the Tower of London. The City of London is also London’s prime financial district and your walk will also take you past some of London’s new skyscrapers, with their own nicknames like, the Gherkin, the Scalpel and the Walkie Talkie!

Step into Westminster
Westminster is the royal and government district of London, where Kings and Queens and famous politicians have lived for hundreds of years and are still living and working today. Enjoy a personal and tailored walk past iconic buildings like the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament), the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) and 10 Downing Street. You will also see the parts of Westminster that most people don’t see as you walk around some of the small Georgian back streets and squares with their terraced houses and original gas lamps.
You can start your tour by watching the Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays only) or by including a visit to the magnificent Westminster Abbey (where British monarchs have been crowned since 1066) or the Churchill War Rooms
